The hotel had a cozy Japanese style bedroom above the bar, which was comfortable once the heating was adjusted. The staff were very friendly and helpful, despite occasional noise from other guests. The central location was ideal for exploring Ely, although it could have felt a bit cosier. The dining experience offered a delicious Full English breakfast, but the menu choices were limited. Overall, a welcoming stay with some minor room temperature adjustments needed.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, although the morning traffic noise from the High Street was a bit bothersome. The room was spacious with a large bed, a decent shower room, and a lovely decor. However, there were some minor decorative repairs needed, like plaster coming away from the walls.
